Wide range of amenities to enjoy during your stay. From high-speed WiFi to beach gear, we have everything you need for a comfortable and convenient vacation.

We delight in offering you access to our extra amenities, but please be mindful that their use is at your own risk. Should any item be damaged due to negligence, we may request you to repair or replace it. Enjoy your time, but kindly use the items responsibly. As our guests change over time, we cannot assure the condition or availability of specific items during your visit. Feel free to contact us as your stay approaches, and we’ll gladly provide updates on any item.

Bikes

Four Beach Cruisers and a youth Mountain Bike are available for a family bike ride along the bay drive bike trail!

If you plan to bike while visiting, please bring along your helmets. We do have two youth helmets available, but sizing is always a challenge.

Beach Gear and outdoor games

We have a variety of beach gear available for your use, including chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards.

Outdoor Shower

Rinse off after a day at the beach with our convenient outdoor shower. Perfect for washing away sand and saltwater before heading inside.

Grill

Enjoy outdoor cooking with our propane grill, perfect for summer barbecues and family meals.

If you would like to use the grill, open the rolling garage door from the inside and roll it out into the driveway. Do NOT turn on the gas or operate the grill while it is under the house. After using the grill, please let it cool completely and make sure the gas is turned off on the tank before returning it to the garage.

Private Beach Parking

Enjoy the convenience of reserved beach parking for our guests. A permit is provided for your use during your stay, allowing easy access to the beach without the hassle of finding public parking.

All guests of Flyers Nest have access to two private parking lots right next to the public beach access on 4th and 5th Streets. The 5th Street lot is larger and located at the North/East corner of Target. The 4th Street parking lot is at the South/East corner of target and can be accessed from the Virginia Dare Trail Hwy by pulling in next to The Jolly Roger restaurant.

Please know that because parking can be a challenge during the busy season, these lots must be regularly monitored and those without tags will be towed. You must hang the parking tag from your rear view mirror (do not set on the dash or leave on a seat) at any time you are parking in either lot. Also, please make sure to return the tag to the home – a lost tag costs $100 to be replaced.
